Josh Garallek is a serial entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in a variety of industries. Currently, he serves as the Chief Entertainment Officer and Co-Founder of Arctic Leaf, a digital agency specializing in e-commerce development, design, and retention marketing. Under his leadership, Arctic Leaf has become a leader in the digital space, helping brands grow and thrive in the competitive e-commerce landscape.
But Josh’s entrepreneurial journey didn’t start in tech—it began in the adult entertainment industry. He worked for well-known companies like Brazzers and Pornhub, where he gained invaluable insights into digital marketing and operations. However, after a few years, Josh decided to leave the adult industry and pivot into game development, founding a game studio in Ottawa, where he met his business partner, Graeme.
Despite the initial excitement, Josh quickly realized that running a game studio wasn’t as glamorous as it seemed, and it presented its own unique challenges. He continued to explore various ventures, including launching Partner Portal, a PRM (Partner Relationship Management) solution, which he successfully exited in four years.
Outside of business, Josh enjoys tackling new challenges. He participated in Fight for the Cure, a boxing event in Ottawa, which he considers one of the coolest and most memorable experiences of his life. His passion for creative problem-solving, working with inspiring people, and getting involved in exciting projects has shaped him into the dynamic entrepreneur he is today.
